Now in our 97th year of operation and fourth generation of family ownership, we attribute our success to staying ahead of industry trends and forging strong relationships with our customers, vendors, and employees.

We're known throughout the NE for our custom-manufactured Hews Custom Taskmaster platform body which carries a lifetime structural warranty and is used in many industries including building supply, roofing, lumber, and precast concrete.

We have two full-service locations:

• South Portland, ME – 12 bay, 28,000sf facility w/ a paint shop & extensive parts warehouse 
• Bow, NH – 5 bay, 11,046sf shop w/ an extensive parts inventory

To service our Mid-Atlantic customers, Hews has entered into a strategic partnership with an equipment service facility in Westminster, MD.  

Hews is registered with the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration and is a National Truck Equipment Association (NTEA) MVP.
